Golden Rajasthan with Taj Mahal

Day 1: Udaipur
Upon arrival, the guests will be met & transferred to the hotel. City tour of Udaipur - The tour will cover lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens this small garden made for the queens and the maids, has many fountains and other important figures. The Jagdish Temple this Indo-Aryan Temple made by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651 AD, is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur, with many intricately sculpted idols displaying the fine Indo-Aryan architecture. Finally visit the Pratap Museum The museum houses the old sculptures and inscriptions. One can see the antique paintings of Dewar and the turban worn by prince Khurram (Emperor Shahajahan) on display, which was gifted to Maharana Khazan Singh by Shahjahan. Evening enjoy boat ride in Lake Pichola in Udaipur and visit to The City Palace. Overnight at hotel in Udaipur.


Day 2: Udaipur
Today explore this beautiful city by your own visiting, The City Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Pratap Memorial has the bronze statue of Maharana Pratap, the legendary warrior king of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple which was built in 1651 AD. Saheliyon Ki Bari is a small ornamental garden. Late afternoon enjoy a two hour boat-ride on Lake Pichola visiting many Ghats (banks) of washing, bathing etc and enjoy excellent views of the Lake Palace and City Palace.
 

Day 3 : Udaipur - Ranakpur – Kumbhal Garh - Jodhpur
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jodhpur en route visit Ranakpur Temples.
Ranakpur Temples - the most magnificent 15th century Jain temples situated in the deep secluded valley of the Aravali Hills and go to Kumbhal Garh Fort. Kumbhalgarh, situated 65 km north of Udaipur hold a heroic past having sheltered the heir of Mewar throne in times of Danger. It was here that the baby prince of Mewar was hidden from an assassin. It is an isolated and fascinating place, built by Maharana Kumbha in the 15th century.
Later drive to Jodhpur Gateway to the Thar Desert. Check in at hotel.


Day 4 : Jodhpur- Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur (361 kms) "Pink City" of India. Upon arrival in Jaipur check in at your hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit City Palace the museum, Jantar Mantar the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments and Hawamahal the Palace of Winds. Arrval in Jaipur and check in to the hotel and late evening enjoy at Chokhi Dhani -an ethnic Rajasthani Resort with special dinner with cultural programme, Rajasthani folk dance & music. Overnight at the Hotel.


Day 5 : Jaipur
After breakfast proceed to visit Amber fort where you will have the sheer pleasure to enjoy the Elephant Ride. And then go to Jaigarh Fort. Jaigarh Fort is located on the top of the hill, by the name of Cheel ka Teela (Hill of Eagles). Jaigarh Fort is also known as the 'Victory Fort', located at a comfortable distance of 15kms from Jaipur. The highlight of this Fort is the massive cannon by the name of Jaivan, which was made in the same production house. Jaivan, the cannon, is believed to be the largest cannon in the World and the main attraction of the Jaigarh Fort. Day at Leisure. Overnight at Hotel.


Day 6 : Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri- Agra
Drive to Agra "Taj City" of India en route visit at Fatehpur Sikri. Here we will visit the world fame Buland Darwaza , the largest gateway in the world. It was Built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 to commemorate the birth of his son and later abandoned due to scarcity of water. Upon arrival in Agra check-in at your hotel.


Day 7: Agra
Visit the TAJ MAHAL - one of the Seven Wonders of the World. (Friday closed).
Overnight Stay Hotel.


Day 8 Agra Depart
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Railway station for next destination.
