Jeep Safari & Desert Camping in Rajasthan

Day 01: Arrive Delhi & Delhi sightseeing
Board your flight to Delhi. Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport and get assisted transfer and check into the hotel. Once you will reach hotel, our representative will give the travel kit comprising hotel voucher, service voucher and detailed tour programme. After settling in the hotel, ready for the city tour of Delhi covering Jama Masjid – its construction began in 1650 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and took 6 years to complete. Today it is the largest mosque in India, Red Fort – octagonal shaped fort made up of Red sand stone, it is the most impressive monument built during the rule of Shah Jahan. Next visit Humayun’s Tomb – showcasing the glory of Mughal Empire it is the final resting place of Mughal Emperor Humayun. After this we head towards Qutub Minar named after Qutub ud Din Aikab who laid its foundation in 1199 AD. Your Delhi tour will be incomplete without visiting India Gate and President Palace or Rashtrapati Bhavan – Official residence of the president of India (from Outside). Spend night in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi - Agra (205 Kms, 4-5 hrs).

Agra is the third largest city in the state of Uttar Pradesh and today’s renowned for one of the beautiful wonder of the world, the impressive “Taj Mahal”. Stopover at Sikandara Fort - the mausoleum of Akbar the great Mughal Emperor who carried out many projects during his life time which shows its love for art, literature, religion, architecture. The son of Akbar followed the same path and as a result we can see the impressive Sikandra Fort. Reach Agra and transfer to the hotel. Later set out to visit the famous monuments of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal (Crown Palace) – A tribute by Shah Jahan to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died after giving birth to their 14th child. Itmad-Ud-Daulah – often known as Baby Taj due to the architectural resembles it bears to Taj Mahal. The empress Noor Jahan built this monument in the memory of his father Mirza Ghiyas Bed. And the magnificent Agra fort (Built in 1654) – which served for military purpose as well as royal residence in ancient times. The addition inside the fort was carried by next generation of Mughal Emperor like Jahangir and Shah Jahan. Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay at Agra.

Day 03: Agra/Fatehpur Sikri/karauli (200 Kms, 5 hrs).
[Fatehpur Sikri ] Leave Agra and drive to Karauli - earlier known as Kalyanpuri it is a picturesque township founded by Kalyanji in the year 1348 AD. Enroute you will visit Fatehpur Sikri also known as “Ghost Town” – this ruined city served as the capital for short period to Mughal Empire and due to the shortage of water, the capital was shifted back to Agra. The finest monuments inside the fort are the Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and the tomb of Saint Sheikh Salim Chishti, and the Jama Masjid. Arrive Karauli and visit Kaila Devi Temple and safari in the Kaila Devi Sanctuary. In the evening enjoy camel cart ride. Overnight stay will be at Bhanwar Vilas Palace which was earlier the residence of royal families.

Day 04: Karauli to Hadothi
Morning after breakfast, drive to Sapotra - 40 km away from Karauli. From here we will start the most exciting cycle tour towards Hadoti – located 25 km from Sapotra. While traveling we will stop at Morel River for lunch. During the journey, we will see various fascinating villages and countryside. Arrive Hadoti and we will visit numerous temples spread in every corner of it. Overnight stay is at village camp.

Day 05: Sawai Madhopur
Morning we will start cycling tour to Mulana Dungar – located 20 kms away that would take approx 3hrs to travel. En route we will see one more river i.e. Banas. After taking some rest, we will continue our journey towards Sawai Madhopur by car. The main attraction of the place is Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve spread over an area of 400 Sq Km. It was declared as a National Park in 1981. Evening enjoy game viewing safari in park by canter or jeep. While doing safari, you can see the wildlife animals like Deers, Tigers, Cheetal, Blue Bull, Sambars and many more in their natural habitat Overnight stay in jungle resort.

Early morning, enjoy jungle safari inside the park and after breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur - also known as the pink city of Rajasthan because of the fact that the old walls of the city are painted with pink colour. This capital city of royal Rajasthan, Jaipur serves as the main gateway to this state. Sprinkled with royalty Jaipur shows some marvelous monuments to its visitors. On arrival check in at the hotel and overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 07: Jaipur
After breakfast in the hotel, visit Amber Fort – the pride of Jaipur which stands atop a range of craggy hills. Take a pleasure on elephant back to reach the main gate of the fort or jeeps as per one’s choice. Later proceed for the local sightseeing tour of Jaipur covering City palace – the palace is the mixture of Rajput and Mughal Architecture, Jantar Mantar – built by Maharaja Sawai Singh is the largest observatory in India that used to study the movements of stars in earlier times, Hawa Mahal also known as Wind Palace was designed in such a way so that the royal ladies can watch the everyday life of local people without being seen. Evening stroll the local bazaars and market palace in Jaipur and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Jaipur - Bikaner (319 Kms, 6-7 hrs).
[Junagarh Fort] Morning after delicious breakfast begin the day with the drive to Bikaner located in the north of desert state. Thefoundation of this grandeur kingdom was laid down by Rao Bikaji, the fifth son of Rao Jodhaji. It is also called as the camel country as government set up a national research centre on camel here which is popularly known as camel breeding farm. The attraction of Bikaner is the stunning Junagarh Fort - Built in 15 century it is an excellent example of preservation and considered as one of the most remarkable fort complexes in India. The interior of the fort are decorated with marble, paintings and semi-precious stones. Overnight stay will be at Bikaner.

Day 09: Bikaner/Nokha/Bangarwala Bera (Camel Safari)
Today we will drive to Nokha famous for converting military jeeps to open jeeps. There are many small scale industries which produce products like woolen blankets, electric bulb, fans, and cable wires here. Reach Nokha and have your lunch there. Later proceed for the most enjoyable journey from Nokha to Bangarwala (15 Kms) on a camel. Terminate the journey at Bangarwala for overnight stay in camp.

Day 10: Bangarwala Bera/Khagan (Camel Safari)
Today we will continue our journey to Khangan on camel back. On the way you will visit many small villages. Terminate the journey at Khagan for overnight stay in camp.

Day 11: Khagan/bhardia (Camel Safari)
After relaxed morning, we will proceed towards Bhardia on camel covering 13 Kms. Terminate the journey at Khagan for overnight stay in camp.

[Jeep Safari at Jaisalmer] Day 12: Bhardia/Jhamba/Jaisalmer
Today is the last day of Camel Safari as we continue to Jhamba from Bhardia on camel (15 kms). Reach Jhamba and then you will be driven to Jaisalmer – The golden city situated in the picturesque Thar desert is very popular among Indian as well as foreign tourist. Jaisalmer fort (Sonar Quila) immediately draws your attention along with various other historical monuments scattered all over the city which can be seen while doing the city tour. Also the important temples not to miss here are Jain Temples situated in the Jaisalmer Fort. These temples are very old dating back to 12th and 15thcentury. Spend your night in Jaisalmerr.

Day 13: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (295 Kms, 6-7 hrs)
Drive to Jodhpur the charming city of Rajasthan attracting thousands of tourists every year due to its unique culture, art and colourful festivals. Reach Jodhpur and transfer to the hotel freshen up and relax for some time. Visit Mehrangarh Fort – Built in 1459 the majestic fort situated at the height of 400 ft with 68 ft wide and 117 ft high walls. Situated close by is Jaswant Thada the white marble cenotaph built in remembrance of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Overnight stay will be at Jodhpur.

Day 14: Jodhpur/Ghanerao (200 Kms, 5 hrs).
Breakfast in morning and then head to Ghanerao - a small quite village is a part of Pali district. It is well known for its culture, heritage, landscape and wild life. Nearby, there are some astonishing tribal villages and 11 Jain temples in the village itself. Spend your night in Ghanerao Castle

[Kumbalgarh Fort ] Day 15: GHANERAO - BANGE KA BAGH (12 Kms trekking)
Today after traditional breakfast, trek in the Aravali Hills all the way through the tribal village’s to Bange ka Bagh and stay in the Jungle Lodge.

Day 16: Bange ka bagh – Kelwara (12 Kms trekking)
Start your trekking tour to Kelwara and visit some traditional villages which give an opportunity to experience some wildlife in their natural habitat atmosphere. Overnight stay is in a hotel at Kelwara.

Day 17: Kelewara/Kumbalgarh/Udaipur
Today after relaxed morning, walk to Kumbalgarh Fort situated 6 kms from Kelwara, after visiting this great defensive fortress built at a height of 3500 ft which was almost inaccessible in the 15 century start drive to Udaipur. The lake city with its scenic beauty and surroundings attract the attention of the tourists at once. On the way visit Ranakpur Temples built in Dilwara style they are great architectural masterpiece. Later continue drive to Udaipur, on arrival check in at the hotel and evening free to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay is at hotel in Udaipur.

Day 18: Udaipur
Your Udaipur city tour start with the visit of City Palace – the impressive architectural marvel is the largest royal complex in the state of Rajasthan and continues further with visits to places including Sahelion-ki-Bari also known as “Garden of [Udaipur Fort] the Maids of honour”, Jag Mandir – constructed in 1615 is an island palace on Lake Pichola. Overnight stay will be at Udaipur.

Day 19: Udaipur/Delhi
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Udaipur airport to board a flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and get assisted transfer and check into the hotel. Spend rest of the time in comfort at hotel. Overnight stay is at Delhi.

Day 20: Delhi to Departure
On time you will be transferred to airport to board onward flight back to home / next destination.
